Check all the folders for .htaccess
There is more than one
Remove all the php flag lines from them all

Then downloads will work, avatars and pics will work

i figured the htaccess out and did remove those lines, and still had the problem, and then I started playing with permissions, and eventually got the script to work there was more folders than downloads and gallery that is now 755, but it works so I'm happy.

Im always on mobile, very hard to translate.. And btw this is the english version released by johncms right? how c0me it's n0t fully translated in english and the chat feature was g0ne? Is the attached file just a m0d c0py of johncms or is it the original release?

Works just fine! Its a nice CMS! I was tryiing mGiggs 4, but has many errors and no admin! JohnCMS is great and almost fully translated! Just the anti-flood system that sucks!

Also, the themes provided in this topic works just fine!

@jervy, chat and blogs is not in the new script of johncms, and even I struggle to edit the translated words of pradd.php cause I also use my phone, so when I use fexplorer edit the place where the russian text is shows as funny characters that is not like the russian text I translated.
Anyone here willing to help us, at payment of course

On my server got these Warnings.
