I'm not able to verify my international debit card of union bank of india in paypal!
it says couldnt verify card. try another card!
anyone got any idea, why this happens?

Paypal does not accept any debit card from any bank in india. However credit cards are accepted. I have a paypal verified HDFC bank account. They gave me two Rs as bonus for verification :lol:

You can verify your paypal accounts with indian debit cards by entering the two random deposits they sent to your bank account.
This regulation has been in place for the last few months.

No they only accept credit cards , if som1 tells you that they accept indian debit cards he / she is a big IDIOT . They verify indian bank accounts which may or may not have debit cards so verification of debit cards is a senseless argument. If you have a bank acount in any premiere bank such as ICICI , HDFC , SBI , PNB or any bank which allows for NEFT transfers then you can have your account verified. Just submit your bank account number , Bank IFSC / SWIFT code, your account name and you will be done with it . Paypal will make two small deposits in your account , the total will be approx 2 Rs or more . Just key in those deposit amounts then later and get your account verified.
During this fiscal budget the compulsion on having a Pan card has been Set. If you dont have a PAN card then there is no point in getting your account verified.
