24 hour reset problem help please

i have set up a top list using waplog script it is working but is not resetting after 24 hours i have put some crons (EXAMPLE 0 0 * * * php -f /home/a6171633/public_html/tmp ) on but im not sure if it is correct.should the crons be aimed at certain files or the url etc iv aimed them at function/config/update/tmp/ is this right?? plz reply thanks or is there an alternative to cron?? edit--->> 4EXX.VACAU.COM

yes there is an alternative to cron ..... by coding it to make the users of your toplist do the work for you
