php thumbs

all of a sudden my phpthumbs stoped working it says to read the usage comments.. which are exactly the same as how i have set the sources out. what could be the issue, i have converted them to 5.3.1 and they wer working fine for a few weeks until nw?

phptumb is working on my site right now, i edited it to work with php 5.3.1

I can't make phpthumb work with my php version so i tend to create my own thumb script.. :s

i can send u my version all i did was go thru each line till there were no errors but since then i have made my own thumb script to only 2 method though gif to png or png to gif for transparency png is better solution resizing is no different then what phpthumb offers

Phpthumb has caching which is its strength. Doesnt have to use php everytime a page with resizing photos is required.

For a page where many photos or a photo list has to be resized on d fly, u wil see a significant performance diffence (especially with ImageMagick installed to work wiv phpthumb).

I recommend Phpthumb anytime.

yeh i knw i fixed this myself aswell to run under 5.3.1. all was fine until a few days.
