    SMF forum error

    Hi guys,ive installed the smf web forum script on my server,everything works fine,but 90% of all my members is complaining every time they login it shows they have entered the incorrect login details,can anyone help me regarding this error.

    It could be the login details are case sensitive, so the user must type correct data login which same with data when registration...

      The users is typing in the correct details. And ofcourse the data will be cased sensitive.

        users are idiots...

        1. cookies need to be enable!
        2. Cant UoiᘘBȵX9λ諧xsymbols
        3. they forgotten the password or entering username wrong.

        But it all comes down to idiots

          I browsed the net it looks like it is a script / database problem,i went and ask the support team. Will post the solution anyway.

            go into the
            Admin CP> Server Settings > Feature
            Configuration and set the following:
            Enable local storage of cookies -
            unchecked
            Use subdomain independent cookies
            - checked
            Use database driven sessions -
            checked
