configuring phpmysql site @ byethost problem

I'm also a byethost user..Example your username is b9_1234567 then that's the dbuser then db name is the name of db u have created, example u name it db, then ur db name is b9_1234567_db, ur dbpass is ur acct. password then the host, i d0n't kn0w if this is also ur dbhost, sql107.byethost9.com

LOL im not newbie 4 that ...haha how can u explain that if only byethost couldnt not be connect to script im using but to others 100% working lol

Then in ur config.php u may need to add ur port also like dis $host = "mysql.server.com;3306" some freehost need to put port also try it may be it works

Some freehost does not allow remote databases,

i dont use freehostia anymore LOL before scripts are working properly but now they update site security 4 files even shells are not allowed lol

i think its crap...LOL my frnds got also problem in the admin... they ban innocent people as they recieve bad comments and report to a sub site ...the wrong thing that they manage was people cant explain they just ban the site hehe LOL

Thats it misconfigration cause dis problem. By the way i am using since 2005 no bad experience wid freehostia. Its the best freehost.

haha NO I know that. since 2007 iam already using freeehostia... what i mean is some of files dont works on that hosting

For me works gr8 no problem wid freehostia . May be u dont know how to use it ? Freehostia dont has public_html u must go to file manager n then go to site folder n upload ur script simple .
