Database ERROR!!!

I have been trying to change up things in ma database as i would do normally but since this morning I get error when i try to modify anything in it.

This is the error that i get

SHOW FULL FIELDS FROM `ibwf_shouts` ;


MySQL said:  
#1 - Can't create/write to file '/dev/shm/#sql_3d55_0.MYI' (Errcode: 13)[/COLOR]

what could cause this?

what are you using to modify your database? phpmyadmin, mysql query browser, etc

If you are using phpmyadmin, why not just use the edit function instead of inserting sql to view structure of table

thats the problem, please google before asking here as errcode 13 means you dont have the required perms to edit the file dev/shm/#sql_3d55_0.MYI

try exporting the table then editing in notepad or whatever then reinserting back to phpmyadmin

Ive searched for it and found that I'm not the only person having this problem. maybe its ma server that is causin the error.
