erorrs in mysql coding

i want to change uid='".$who."'")); into uid='".5."'"));

i meant that i want to put user id after uid instead .$who.

i tried to put but i got string error .



i tried to change

$prs = mysql_fetch_array(mysql_query("SELECT id FROM ibwf_users WHERE uid='".$who."'"));

into

$prs = mysql_fetch_array(mysql_query("SELECT id FROM ibwf_users WHERE uid='"5"'"));


i dont want to use $who but i want to use a particular user id after uid.
