Bugs in John CMS v4.40?

I just installed John CMS v4.40 and I encountered some problems:

1. At the head of the page, there are some warning saying "This page contains the following errors:
error on line 28 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error." in the red rectangular box.

2. When I modify end.php, it will not appear after that.

Do you guys know how to fix it?

this happens cos something went wrong during installation
delete file /incfiles/db.php
and reinstall the script
