i want to set a static ip localhost.

now all website opening with http://localhost/www.test.com address..

i want to change it as http://an static ip/www.test.com .... help me to point a static ip

but i want it to visible to others, i installed xampp server

Your xampp server is already visible to others via your dynamic external ip..you just need to change some lines at xampp-conf

btw have you already purchased the static ip from your ISP?

if not, you can use a free dns service which will give the same functionality w/ a free domain name FreeDNS - Free DNS - Dynamic DNS - Static DNS subdomain and domain hosting
