Steps For Windows...
1) - Installation with the Installer

2) - XAMPP Control Panel to start/stop all server

3) - Start Apache, MySQL
4) - Test ur Server
Goto - http://localhost/
Or - http://127.0.0.1/ form ur Browser

5) - If Testing Well then Goto - http://localhost/phpmyadmin/
for Create Database
5) - Goto c:\xampp\htdocs
Detele All files Add ur own Files
index.html or ur script
6) - then Goto http://www.whatismyip.org/
Ur Computer Ip is Ur Site.
7) - Goto FreeDNS - Free DNS - Dynamic DNS - Static DNS subdomain and domain hosting
8 ) - Register - Login - Add ur Domain & Ur IP Add...
9) - Then ur site working as domain with ur own PC.
10) - Downloading & Bowsing Speed Depends on ur Net Speed.

Ur Disk Space + Ur Bandwidth (Free) with ur PC

Install Software then Run Apache, MySQL.
Add files on c:\xampp\htdocs
then ur IP add.. is ur site

- Make Sure Apache, MySQL run well done.

and when i points my ip adress in adressbar it opens my wireless router settings.

but when i open as localhost it shows my index page. but when by ip it shows my router

dude u must open port 80 at ur router

if you are behind router, means your PC uses L(ocal)A(rea)N(etwrok) IP
to get proper LAN IP for localhost, click start/run/ type ther CMD
in dos window type ipconfig
and there will be LAN IP for you PC

just... i'd suggest DynDNS service as it's better IMHO...
