i need account validation script.
1.step:user register
2.step:user need validation code which they get after registeration through email.
3.after got validation code n user put correct code so his/her account is open for login does any1 hve this script plz post here

i've coded quite similiar script.. other users can generate registration code and than give it to member who wants register.. so my comunity becomed private..

use time();
store it in the database,
use lava vaildate thing change it to only accept the code in the database.

why not just send a random pwd to the email?

do sumin like if 24 hours(make the code very simple) and validated = 0
then giv it instructions to delte or resend request, and if that end done with say 48 hours of email send tell it do delete the account

search in forums, riderz posted a tutorial how to do that. And its ready for use, just rename tables and fields name.
