i have a problem in this scrip in two line

$file=str_replace('<a href="2"', '<a href="?thefriend=/cricket-match/scorecard/9964/2"', $file);
Why there 9964/1 when i click previous match second innings then it show 9964/2 can any one help me?
here is my site check it here click on second innings then it show 9964 but not show 9963/2
