permission to 777

i was learn about handling file with php. And they made mention about changing permission to 777. But their is noting like that in my site so what do i do because i am still learning php, thanks friends

go to your cpanel > file manager > select the file or folder you need to change permission on > there should be a change permissions icon or link somewhere on that page depending on your cpanel. .

it will bring up a checkbox thing with 6 lil boxes . check them all to make it 777
or if your using ftp you can do it thru there .

Or if you using and ftp like filezilla ..right click on the folder and look for file permissions you can change it there .
