hello, you don't need to buy paid hosting or change server settings for this script.. but you must change this script, bcoz its use a $sxml = simplexml_load_file($feedURL) function for get feeds. this function is using a php fopen , but free hosting providers disable it.. just this is the solution for this problem..

find simplexml_load_file($feedURL) function in your script and replace this code to it..
example- in this script index page code, you can see this function as this

$sxml = simplexml_load_file($feedURL) or die (" some error msg ");

just replace this few lines ..

$ch = curl_init() or die ( curl_error() );
curl_setopt( $ch, CURLOPT_URL, $feedURL );
curl_setopt( $ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1 );
$data = curl_exec( $ch );
curl_close( $ch );
$sxml = new SimpleXMLElement($data);
