Here is a shoutbox mod i created for socialengine script.

Install instruction are in the zip archive.

fix:
open gum_shoutbox.php and replace:

$declares = declare_list(0, 10); 

with:

$declares = gum_shoutbox_messages_list(0, 10);

This is precisely what I've been looking for, had a heck of a time with standard shoutboxes trying to integrate, question though, what is the easiest way to create the needed info in sql db? note I would be using phpmyadmin.

nm query in phpadmin and im gravy, however its not showing usernames in the posts
