Heres a Encoder/Decoder Addon That i made for chrome
Features:

• Encodes md5
• Encodes Base_code64
• Decodes Base_code64
• Flips text upside down
• Url encodes
• Url decodes
• Encodes Unicode
• Decodes Unicode
• Escapes Javascript/html
• Unescapes Javascript/html
• Allows Popout to Full Page (chrome version only)
• Instant Text Change
• Auto highlight Converted text box when hovering over it
• Uses local storage to remember last selected on drop down menu

Very handy to have at the touch of a button
It is wrote in html/javascript so no connecting to an external server and no hidden iframes.
It is 100% safe to use... and if you dont believe me just rename the .crx file to .zip and unzip it and read the scripts for yourself :P

Can I use this in offline server on my laptop? And do I need chrome browser or can I use any browser?

Its just for chrome, and yes you can use it offline .... you could just take the scripts out of it and open them in any browser and it will do the same thing

Thx mate.... So how does it work I installed the opera version but I can't paste any text into the textbox after I selected it

oh make sure you dont pull your cursor down over second box as it auto selects that box on hovering over it... maybe not such a good idea to add that

Added after 2 minutes:

the second textarea box is read only so you cant paste text into it

Ok I figured out I must use ctrl+c or v for copy an paste as it doesn't allow right mouse click.

I didnt try using right click paste
i havent blocked right click .... its just addon popups that dont allow you to do so

@something, you should upload this cool extension in chrome web store, newer versions of chrome doesn't allows downloaded .crx files installations.But unpacked it & loaded using chrome developer's mode.
