How to run scripts on windows vista offline?

better off using vhosts option in apache then u can use domains offline there fake but least u get the proper perspective all u need to do is setup the vhosts in vhosts.conf and add sitename.com 127.0.0.1 in windows hosts file

apache2triad is better than wamp.

first you need to install apache, php and mysql. instead of installing them seperately, i advise you to install wamp server.. download it from Install PHP 5 Apache MySQL on Windows : WampServer
Then start the server, open bowser and open http://localhost/ you will see page of wampserver..
now put those scripts into www folder of wamp. you can access if from localhost page, it will be shown under Projects head or just directly access http://localhost/FOLDER_NAME
