Try using ur cpanels legacy file manager

Frozty was right im using cpanel legacy file manager in uploading files in my public_html using my operamini. Here's the trick you cant upload a .htaccess file using a java operamini so if you want to upload .htaccess files rather use operamini 5.1 (symbian).
