Dedicate server ! what to buy ?

    Hy !
I am already tired of VPS ... my sites start to have more hits every day and the VPS come down every week ...
I want to move on a dedicate server .

In first search I find this :
    FDC SERVERS
    and this
Fully Managed Dedicated Server, Premium Service, Linux Dedicated Server - HostV VPS
    and this
    Instant Deploy "Always a Solution" ( :-? )

    ________

Please to recommend a hosting company that can provide a good dedicated server .. but only from personal experience, not from what you read on Google etc...

    Thanks ..

theres a few ive tried, some of the ones ive tried recently are:

    • Keyweb.de - customer support is quite quick, and the monthly charges are quite acceptable, the setup fee's are a bit steep though so you have to intend on keeping the server for a while to benefit from it. However i rented 6 servers from them so they waived the setup fee for 3 and spread the other 3 fee's out over 6 months so it wasnt a bit payout to begin with. Usually a god idea to talk to them before you buy, sometimes you can get a discount or spread your setup fee over a few months if your nice to um.
    • server.lu - only ever had one server from these, setup fee's are a bit nicer to look at and the monthly costs are quite good for what you get. Customer support can be slow sometimes but that could be down to the number of customers they have.
    • leaseweb - Probably the best company ive ever used for site hosting, never had downtime and you really do get what you pay for. But with their great servers and support also comes a high cost, as with everything if you want quality then you have to pay for it. There fee's are quite expensive so its not an option unless you've got a nice nest egg to use for fee's or you have customers of your own enough to fund the server

Keep in mind though that a dedi is completely different to a vps or anything else, you need to know a fair bit of linux to setup the mail server, ftp, webserver and everything else. Especially since when you go dedi the host will not provide you with as much technical support nor will they keep your server secure beyond their physical datacenter. So make sure you install a firewall like shorewall and a good idea to install clamAV if your have you own mail server

thats aweful, mind you its managed so that could be the high price, if you want someone to set you up the webserver, email, ftp on a standard dedi i'll help you out, after that you can pretty much manage on your own with one of the free web panels (i think i have a nulled copy of cpanel somewhere too but im not sure, you can try that out if you want which i presume your used to like most on here) its probably a little older than the current version of cpanel though lol

but yeah if your stuck on a managed packaged then i dont know, seems a bit pricey to have someone run a setup disk and spend an hour tweeking settings every few months

                  What problems Bogdan ?!!

What do you think about :

Low: 330 ATOM at $129/mo with a 500 GB Drive, 2 GB Ram, and 5TB Bandwidth + cPanel, 100Mbps port
                  Mid: Xeon E3110 3.0GHZ w/ 6MB L2 Cache at $199/mo, 500GBx2 4GB RAM 7.5TB + cPanel, 100Mbps port.
                  High: Xeon X3360 2.83GHZ w/ 12MB L2 Cache at $299/mo 1TBx2 with RAID1 (if you want) 8 GB RAM 10 TB + cPanel, 100Mbps port
all of them include 1 hour management per month, security hardening, and the bandwidth is only counts the outgoing! Incoming bandwidth is free!

                  From bounceweb ??
