Help with dedicated server!

Hi,

I just bought my Dedicated server at godaddy and a .info,
I don't know how to setup the whole thing I thought it was the same as shared hosting,

Well Can someone help me step by step which to do first?

Here is what I done as of now,

I add a domain already linked it, what's next? how can I make my own DNS etc etc, please help.

do you have WHM Cpanel ? and which type of setup you want ? if you already created a account then what you wana do next ? you can open your domain like domain.info and for open domain control panel domain.info:2082 or you have a server without whm ?

did you create name server such as we call ns1.domain.com ns2.domain.com etc ?
and changed your domain dns setting ?

yes i know what cpanel is but what is the difference between normal cpanel and cpanelx pro?

Not much cpanelx pro just has game servers and shout cast tools that about it.

yes, I have created my host ns1. and ns2. I also changed my DNS with the ones I made, but it still doesnt work, please correct me if I am wrong, the IP I inserted at my ns1 and ns2 are the same? Em I suppose to give them different i.p?

did you order single ip did they given you 2 set of ip ??

You can do this

101.19.19.19 ns1.domain.tld
101.19.19.19 ns2.domain.tld

But you mite have some problems if your hosting.

Well, They gave me a single IP at first but I requested another so my total IP now is two, but I can request more if I want to.

Yes that's what I did with my DNS

NS1.example.com 18.18.18.2
NS2.example.com 18.18.18.3

So I'm done with that part

What else do you think I miss?

well I have already changed my DNS right after my host summary is approve and working.

But when I uploaded my index.php using FTP, it does not appear in my site is says, link not found. hmm..
