it dos work m8, its probs the script youv got or safeguards on the network blokin yur site, at first the site was as fast as the host i was paying 20 a munf for but then few days l8r it went reli slow but the customer service offered to but me on na different server now i have no problems at all, so i would recomend them for the simple fact of there customer service and the speeds and price of £1.51 per month for there service

my site got hacked within 5 mins of it being online with them .

wasnt the acual site that got hacked was the server that got hacked . my site just happened to b e one of they hit .

2 weeks ago byet host went to replace their raid disks unfortunately the new disks was rejected by their software.when they went to put the old disks back the old hdisks were corrupted hense alot of loss of data.that was the email they sent me .lucky for me i had a back up of my script edits so was back up and running in 48 hours.

Yesterday at approximately 14:00 GMT an upgrade on all paid servers took place which envolved the installation of an additional set of RAID hard disk drives.


After the Byethost.org server (paid server one) was re-booted the RAID controller card malfunctioned and caused massive corruption to all of the internal hard disk including the backup storage disk.


Multiple file system checks over the last 16-20 hours were unable to repair the file systems to a integral / usable data volume. Continued repairs by our recovery specialistst finally concuded that all volumes including the internal backup hard disk were corrupted beyond recoverability.


Everything possible has been done to restore this servers data, unfortuately after the final recovery attempt was concluded we had to re-issue a new fresh account to you. You will need to upload your website and MySQL data.


New account login information has been emailed to you.


If you have not received your new login information please create a ticket in the support system.


We would like to send out most sincerrest apologies for the problems caused by this exceptional and extremely sad issue.

my server never been down only time it has it 4 the 2mins when i do a restart once every few months lol

most ppl dnt relise they can help reduce server crashes as well by going in file manager and clearing the file cpu cache a few times a week lol Note:: it also helps speed ya server a lil bit
