Cpu Over Usage Problem

Hello friendz,
For lavalair scripts I am facing a server problem lately. The problem is CPU over usage. At a time I am allowed up to 15% of CPU usage but sometimes it becomes over 50%!!! Host warned me again and again. My site visitor is not more than 10 people at a time and maximum time they use PM-PM. My host says the inboxproc.php file makes the high CPU usage. I dont know why it occurs. If anyone know about it better plz post here.....

just edit or optimize your sql queries most of the queries happen in inbox when they use this alot of times..

I have a wapsite http://pinoywap.net (WML and XHTML) and I always got mysql and server problems. The site gets all the server loads and small servers will crash. My host says that the problem is on my php script mysql queries. Im new in this field so dont know how to decrease my site server loads. I want mysql and php expert to help me fix my site server loads or mysql problem

old lava script has that problem here are some issues that i encountered before with some freehost or any shared server. take note i am not just one of those who has problem with this look at the above statment min0 has that problem 8months ago or even before that!

Slow MySQL queries are not allowed, because you share server resources with thousands of other users and your long MySQL queries are slowering the server and other users are having MySQL performance and connectivity problems. Please optimize your MySQL queries as soon as possible or we may need to suspend your account.

Yes if the inbox database table is full then inboxproc will have to use a lot to search through them everytime a user opens there inbox.

Maybe you might also have a memory leek in the inboxpoc.php file itself

Dont no how u manage to have cpu problems, there must be a big problems with the server, wap dont use any kind of resouses your loading 10kb on average per page not hunreads of mb, like most web sites do.
The truth about hosting:
Never rent out a vps or dedicated server unless you are paying atleast $500 each month, Reason for this all dedicated and vps are based on a single server and they share all the cpu and ram with other accounts. NOT GOOD. Most stats are fixed to make it look like your using more resorces.
Why? They are there to make as much profit as possible, They will say the server has this cpu ram blah blah but none of it is true. Remember these web hosts only want sites that get a few hits a day, so they can squeeze as many accounts onto the server posssible to make as much profit as they can.
To be honest unless your willing to pay loads of cash out each month, the best way foward is to use a shared hosting account, most shared hosting platforms have hundreads of machines wired up, to share resores accross the whole network, its called load balancing. So basicly u could have 1000times the amount of resourses u would ever get with a vps or dedicated server.
They dont like telling you that, coz they want profit profit and profit.
