I couldn't understand that how you would generate hosting coupon yourself?

It is generated by the company only as you get discount on that also.

When you become an affiliate at hostgator , you can generate your own code .. when ppl sign up through that code they are your referred users and you get some share from the income .. that's the ****.

There are some free coupons that does not work. Try checking them before using it. They make a great error on the system.
