most common sizes of monitors' screens

hi!
i make design for my blog. friend tell me that logo with size 1300x*** is very large.
but i use monitor with such size of its screen and this logo very comfortable for me...
plz tell me what size of screen are u use?
and ill draw conclusions...

i use 1440x900 but it's not very usual.
I think that the most used are 1280x1024 & 1024x768.

i use 1360x768...
maybe logo really need at minimizing...

as stated above...
1280x1024 & 1024x768
are still most comon resolution in use...
keep in mind also that kB size also matter...
the smaller the better...

i agreed with metulj,

I see a site has too big images i tend to leave the site as it loads slow and errors come and go.

Also note that some are still using dail-up or far away from your server.
