CSS margin % + px

I want to position a div class with left margin 10% + 225px.
I tried with this

div.main1
{
position:absolute;
left:10% + 225px;
top:200px;
z-index:-1;
width:90%;
}

But there is no left margin in the result.
Then i tried with 2 div

div.nextmainmenu
{
position:absolute;
top:200px;
left:10%;
}
div.nextmainmenu1
{
position:absolute;

left:225px;
}

Is there any other way to do this with in 1 div?
