is there a way to prevent users from stealing pictures?

im sure we can add ascreen saying (COPYRIGHTS OF site name) when a user right clicks the mouse! like in bigger sites!

anyone know ho we can do this?

no! but picture i take my self and that i dont want people from copying and pasting is what i want to prevent!

im sure im not the only one that wishes to stop people from stealing!

like when i make my own smilies from scratch, i have to put the site name in it to stop ppl from copying them to use them in their own sites!

i found some free php script to prevent this,,but it has little instruction on how to aply it to pages to prevent copying of images!

i found other scripts but alot more complicated to apply,,,

if anyone can get this one to work or has a better one? pls let me know

why not use css function and write a label over the image etc

sorry to put a dampen on your answer lol but if the person wishing to steal your images doesnt right click they can also steal by saving the page to thier desktop thus enabling the whole page including all images to be saved.right click is beaten lol

people on a mobile phone can also take any image they want from any site so the copyright thing wont work sorry to say but its been tryed and tested and does not work

wudnt i be right in sayin some phones may not respond or may not load complete page if they dont support the java function.?
