Need Help To check is url image link or not??

i need lil bit help to checking url if is image or not....
the url is just like a hyper link for ex: ' http://sitename.com/image.php?id=76876&typ=image ' something like this but this link will redirect us to another url like

' http://sitename.com/image2.php?id=76876&typ=image '



please help me in this

it depends on image.php that what is defined in it.

which will get the image from that urls and copy to our server or if it can't copy so direct show it with the checking of image file if is exist or image so query goes to if block else not image....
