Hello. I'm looking for an decent framework MVC based, to develop medium to large sized applications.
I want a php5 oop framework that have a promising future without shell commands.

Can someone make a suggestion about what to pick?

I have worked with core php always but had a little look at Zend framework. It looks good, provided you are familiar with MVC

I think Zend is more a class library than a framework but i dont know.
I tried CodeIgniter. I like some of their features (like form helper) but because of ExpressionEngine they won't update their framework accordingly with the newest practices.
But now Kohana looks really nice. I will take a look at it.
Oh .. I'm very undecided. The searches will continue.
