why lavalair is dangerous?

hi, Many of you write lavalair is very dangerous script, you say "full of bugs" - or something like this. I would like to ask, why? Do you think that you can not effectively protect lavalair? On forum is many posts which show how protect lavalair script. Do you think that this advice are ineffective? How to choose the script instead of lavalair?

The trouble with lava is that every page needs working on to secure it and by the time you have done that you could have wrote a better script in the same amount of time.
There is a lot of people who think fixing all the sql injection holes and hiding session id makes lava secure - they are so far from the truth, most of the time the coders who do this open them self's up to more hacking exploits then they realize.

The reason why lava is so dangerous is that its a script that people can download the script and find out where the holes are just by reading the script, where as if it is your own script then it means that hackers are working more on the blind side

That's for you to be the judge of. Im not going to make everyone suddenly jump from lava to another script lol
I know there is many addons for lava but its not hard to edit them and change them for any site.
