Unable To Host Chatbot!

Hi! I got error with wap chatbot, it gives error like this when it replys,

Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to [url]www.pandorabots.com:80[/url] in /home3/admin/public_html/wap/core.php on line 635

I tested this with addyour.net hosts......... and when i told them about ths problem, someone says,,

addyour.net does not allow outgoing connections[/b]

Is that true?...If yes, thn Need your suggestion on gud free host where dnt have to face ths kind of problems. Atleast can test scripts properly.

No free host give you fsockopen patch on free hosting they block this so not many scripts will not pass thou other site like rss and feeds

when i host others i have the rights to close fsockopen on you also mite server did it ask them...

Try playing with ur .htaccess file it can turn on some disabled functions sometimes i havent tried the fsockopen but i sure did turn register_globals() on by adding this line to it php_flag turn register_globals on

Blop dont work so mate Zombie not on free host..Like Subzero say the socket port 80 is close by default..i dont find yet eny host with Socket open

Try the following bot script added, it's a bot if've been working on for the past 2years, been a botmaster along time.. If it still give's you the error, try registering on freehostia.com, it definately works on there..
