Help with XAMPP

Hello guys,

I opened this topic because I have problem with XAMPP and I really need to fix it.

We have been using XAMPP in my laptop as a server where all other friends was connecting there (LAN). Now, MySQL will not start, and Apache starts but can't browse [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] because of timeout?

Anyone knows what do I have to deal with?

Your Sql is limited and try less it and see

Also Netserver is better as i can install zend,ffmpeg,ngix

in the xampp/bin folder are bat files tostart them. run and look what error it posts

I haven't sleep yet, doing full boot-virusscans, Windows XP fixes but nothing seems to work.

@ SubZero: I will try to less the mysql data. I will also install Netserver, does this supports Filezilla?

@ DJ Matrix: Yes... And Apache starts, and shows as running service, but can't browse localhost because of timeout.

Ok, Subzero, I am trying Netserver but still the same problem here: Apache starts but when I point to 127.0.0.1 it stays "connecting" till "timeout" error message shows.

I can't reinstall OS because it's a computer of work.

Any other idea? What may cause this?

something like this happened on my wamp. It turned out the mysql service wasnt turning on, some error showed up in the logs. I cant remember how i fixed it exactly. Just check ur apache, php and mysql logs.
