How to get the direct path of a shared hosting?

do you know the IP trick? of some shared hosting?
for ex.
the ip is 76.191.99.167 then you must add the username of yout panel using ~

76.191.99.167/~username

then you are redirect to the index.php of your shared hosting..
the advantage of this TRICK it is not consumed bandwidth of the site =p.

SO MY QUESTION IS!!!!!!
some of the shared hosting / dedicated server does not work with this trick

is there different code? or we must change this ~ symbol in able to activate the trick?

Then hoster checks on your log file for any abuse then boom site gone.
