My IEMI: 354835011107316
you can sign application yourself in your phonewait i upload the software and fr cer file ask me here giv me ur imei number
All applications on S60 v3 (Symbian Op System 9.1) need to be signed before the execution of it or installation, irrespective of whether u set installation :
1.for all
2.signed only
in App manager settings.
Signing means attaching the 2.02 KB checksum of a *.cer file which is the approved certificate, to the file.
Secondly, there are two type of certificates:
Developer and
Self Signing One
Developer certificates are
1.
either ACS Published, that are actually bought by Software developers like LCG, that requires special *.key file to be generated for validation, and the resulting software can be installed on any device with any IMEI.
2.
Only to 1000 or 5000 IMEIs
3.
For Only one IMEI
We need to have a developer certificate for all those applications that use a process called Swevent.exe in our 3rd ed celphone and/or BWlink.exe
These application Includes all those which are system, like file browsers (FE Explorer) etc.
or those that write data in your C:\data or System folder.
For other applications, we can do with what are called self signed certs. that do not require priviliges, like THEMES, etc.
Now to get a dev cert., we can only get it for free if its one IMEI, like in case 3
That requires any private Key file (not ACS)
and software like DEvcert request tool
ADD your IMEI and upload the generated CSR of Dev CERT Tool to symbian signed and download your cert., by creating account on the site
Then download signing applications thatcan sign *.sis(x) files, available over here on Frendz
thensign ur apps/games
Thats it.
DONT be confused about people who post there key or certs. coz they have ggot it from I dont know where and they think that anyone can use those certs.
They are noobs.
YOU MUST got to have ur OWN *.CER certificate that can be got by above method only.
Only Nokia Carbide UI 3.2 can generate certificates and Keys, but self signed, only to be signed for themes and less privilege apps.
But u can use the generated key to get a DEV cer.
you can create ur DevCert and key on mobile and there is now no need for PC to create it.
Process
There are four files in zipped folder. install first 2 files , and install on phone memory, Now install FP1 file (3) or RM(4) according to ur mobile. its in chinese language but very easy to use.
After u have installed app, open it and fill all the fields, very easy and ur key and cert will be created on c:/data/mycert.crs and c:/data/mykey.crs
but one thing in this app is that u will have to select password for ur key.
U can enter any imei.
But u still have 2 upload to symbiansigned with your .csr file to get cer file?
Thanks man....
